I'm so very sorry about her, she was beautiful. my friend josh was killed in august, a month before he turned 20. it was a hit and run, and I recently learned that the driver meant to hit him, because Josh had been talking to the guy's girlfriend. they let the guy go because they said there wasn't enough evidence I feel your pain. I'm sending you some poems I wrote/found I hope you enjoy them.

My heart is saddened to read about Michelle. She is a beautiful woman and I am even sadder that she has left behind a child. Don't worry, Michelle is fine in heaven. My daughter was beautiful also and was murdered May 13, 2004 and left a 7 year old boy who is now living with his father. I get to see very little of him as my daughter and my grandson's father were divorced and he's being very "stingy" with the time I can spend with my little grandson (he is my only grandson and Theresa was my only daughter). I understand your pain. My daughter is buried on Long Island, N.Y. where I grew up. But her murderer us unknown and the police have no leads. I have a grown son (my only remaining child) and he is not married. He too is in pain. My 88-year old mother lives with me and she too is suffering. When a person murders a loved family member, the entire family suffers. My little grandson misses her terribly and doesn't even have the comfort of being with us (even a few nights once in awhile as the father will not allow it). I lost my faith that there is a loving God who cares. If there is a God, he is oblivious to our pain or He would not have let this happen. I hope that with time you will get some peace. I know that life will never be the same.

God be with you for I do know the hurt the pain for you. my step daughter was stolen from us when her boyfriend placed a gun up to her neck as well as cocked the hammer back (saying in his statement to police how scared of guns she was) and saying "Its not even loaded" but it being a revolver kind of hard not to see the bullets right in front of your eyes, and proceeded to want to save his own butt by running instead of calling EMS. he was on phone with friends to hide him as she laid dying. He then stole her car to flee the scene after her best friend finally escaped out the door fearing for her own life while he was in bedroom packing his weed up. Yes, he was on the run for 2 weeks but now we have the trial to face Nov 29 , god be with us to make sure he pays. God bless you and our "Mandy Gal" Marie Parker shot and killed Sept. 30, 2003. Eddie may you rot in hell. It is such a pain that I cant get over I have to keep my pain and hate for him for I can't release him from blame, like he so much wants.

I'm having a hard time, my cousin was seven months pregnant and her water broke, she was in the hospital for 2 weeks and they did a c-section on her and his name was Kaeden Joshua. I just read your story on your daughter. I can not tell you how sorry I am to hear that your daughter has been missing for all these years and the enforcement agencies are doing nothing to help you. I do not believe in the justice system myself any longer so I can relate to your pain. Many years ago I married to a very abusive and manipulative man. Well, needless to say, The law was always on his side no matter what he did to me. I knew if I did not get out of the home, I may have ended up dead or seriously injured. I contacted some friends and they helped me move with all my things one day while he was at work, he searched for me and threatened my life on many occasions. Since I never had anyone I knew to be murdered, I feel at a loss to understand what you have/are going through. I do know a past friend from grammar school that was released from a murder conviction because the officer searched his car (blood evidence) without a warrant. That mistake was the only thing defense attorney needed. He was found not guilty because of that. I did want to pursue criminal forensics after I heard that. I wouldn't worry though. They'll find the perpetrators eventually. Quite frankly I never understood capital punishment. I’d rather have them languishing in prison for the rest of their lives than get the easy way out. My sister, Dawn Marie Garvin, was murdered on November 1, 1987. I don't think the pain ever goes away. I have been fighting for the past 16 years to see that her killer, Steven Oken, who is currently on Maryland's Death Row pay with his life. "Missing Without a Trace"- The Kansas Association of License Investigators (KALI) is having a seminar about how missing person cases are investigated.

Anyone that is interested in finding the answers to unsolved mysteries and perhaps always thought that they had the intuition is welcome. PI's, police officers, detectives, attorney's, all LEO, media, mystery writers, psychics or just ordinary people are welcome.

I have had this case for over four years and the usual thing is not to talk about an open ongoing high-profile case. However, this case would go as many other "missing without a trace" cases would go if everyone just sat back and did nothing. So, one of the reasons that I do this seminar about this case is to tell as many people about the case as possible and in turn teach the "Art of Investigation." Another reason that I give this seminar is that I know that there are a lot of smart and interesting people that attend the seminar. Perhaps they have ideas, I certainly encourage and welcome participation from everyone, whether law enforcement or civilians.

I did a seminar in New York City at the Learning Annex. They had to move the seminar from a class room to a local Holiday Inn because of the unexpected attendance.

Forensic and missing without a trace cases are very popular at this time and are some of the most watched TV shows. What the audience gets from me is that I am not a public speaker nor a teacher, but the real thing . . . ex-New York City Detective that has the case and is investigating the case even while the seminar is taking place. I will have the audience step into my shoes with me and see what they would do as investigators and go along with me to see how to best solve this case. The reason for placing Kristine Kupka's website on the brochure is that I would like the attendees to read about the case prior to attending and go along with me.

It is going to be an interesting seminar and also the networking with experts is invaluable. I hope to see all of you there and please pass on the information in the event that anyone else may want to attend.

I am very sorry about your daughter. I too am a victim of murder and no justice. On December 28/1983 my father was shot and killed in our home in front of me. They later found the man that shot my father, but did nothing to him. I look at this site and I see how strong you are. I can't believe what you and your family have to go through. Having just gone through a 2 year trial process to get the conviction for the man that murdered my son's mother ( I have since adopted him) I can only imagine the frustration. The justice system is all about defendant's rights. Victims have no voice, no advocate. Hopefully enough people will be outraged and stand up for what is right. I just want you to know my heart goes out to you and your family. I found my brother, Brett Curlee murdered in his home-shot in the head. The pain and anguish we feel is like no other. Even though my brother's murder remains unsolved, we know who did it...its just all circumstantial evidence. This guy is lucky I believe in God (couldn't get through this if I didn't) and I know if he gets by with it here, he will not fool God!! Watching John Edward in Crossing Over and reading books about the afterlife (which I always believed in) helped me immensely. It's got to be terrible not knowing where your daughter's body is. I was thinking that when they found my eighteen year old son's JEREMY'S body so decomposed that I had to have a closed casket. But the mere fact that I was told this was my son I felt at least I do have him at the end even if he is dead (MURDERED). But you know what? they'll find her just like they found Chaundra Levy. I know your pain I know how it feels to think about your child and their last dying breath. You just keep the faith and never give up, sometimes we have to stop and rest that's o.k. hell all really of us got is whatever time we got left. So use it positively, keep pushing. The man who murdered your daughter needs to pay for it with his very own life. But if not that then he should at least be known as the one who killed your beautiful daughter Michelle and be made to pay . Please may you sometimes have a day of pure happiness. My prayers are with you. My beautiful 18 year old daughter was murdered by her boyfriend in 1998. He hit her in the head with a crow bar and then threw in the middle of the highway to destroy the evidence. She was run over by 5 cars and there was almost nothing left of her body. The police never charged him. The pain and horror never go away. I pray for you and every other family that has had to go through this.

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonged to him, and the other belonged to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life, there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

The LORD replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you." If you look behind you there will be two sets of foots, His when He carried you and Michelle's watching over you.
