We are now dealing with the supreme court for the second time in 22 years, so I can relate to your frustration. We have had 24 jurors decide he should be put to death, but again the supreme courts wants to stick there nose in it and possibly overturn his second conviction. I know how frustrating it is, but keep the faith and know you are not alone. I will be more than happy to write a protest letter to the parole board. I did not know mr. harris, but I do know his granddaughter and she is a very special person, so I assume she got that from her papaw...I know if he was alive today he would be proud of her. I hated to hear of mr. harris death, but I don't know if this is a suitable time to say this, but god works in strange ways and he lets things happen for a reason, and who knows maybe it was for rhonda to take a stand in what she believes in, but always remember he is in a better place as is my sister teresa, who I cherish and love and miss very much. My dear, nobody knows how proud a mother can be of her child until they see all the effort you have put into keeping you papaw's memory alive. I know of many night's you have worked to find out all the information you could on the circumstances and events that took place because of this terrible waste of life. I felt part of the grief all over again while I watched you suffer from each new bit of cruel and inhumane piece of the puzzle was put together. If the world had more people who cared about life the way you do it sure would be a much better place to live. Your Papaw and Granny knew you loved them but they just didn't realize how much.
