I went to Oak Ridge High School with Gracie, she was in my

I am so sorry for your loss of your two beautiful daughters. It just breaks my heart to know that you have to go through this grief. My daughter Cynthia Tammy Hernandez was murdered by a boyfriend she only knew for 1
1/2 months. He shot her and my life ended also. You have the right to feel the way you do, you are not selfish. Murder is not something you just forget it's with you for the rest of your life as it will be with me. My daughter was 20 yrs old and would have been 21 on July 29th. She was murdered on 6/11/99. I know your grief I can't even sleep at night just thinking of my daughter. So I can imagine what you go through missing your daughters. The murderer who murdered my daughter received 19 to life sentence. I feel so angry at times that I can't think, I just pray that God will be with you to comfort you. He is the only one that will take you through this very difficult time in your life.

In Canada we do not
have the death penalty, and in my high school I had to do a debate about the death penalty being reintroduced. I was violently against the death penalty until

In 2000 my daughter was picked up, raped,
strangled to death, then thrown out of a truck, like
garbage, her killer never found.
My niece was shot three times, stabbed ten times in front of her 20 month old daughter in 1982, then thrown out on the side of the interstate by her husband and his homosexual

I read the entire story of Grace and Tiffany. I am relieved to see that it ended in the proper way it should have. My God, I pray for your losses, the terrible untimely matter to which these beautiful angels were subjected too.
My biological mother Evelyn Edith Kebalo was also strangled and sexually assaulted by 3 men in the wee hours of April 19, 1977. I was never able to meet with her and get to know her again, after having being removed from her custody when I was only 3 1/2. This all happened in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
To this day her murders are free and this is still an Unsolved (Cold) Case.
Very sad knowing this.
It may be only slight good new that the murderer in this case was apprehended. That will never give you back your angels.
Surely they are together in the embrace of God, or what higher power they believed in.

I cannot express the anger and sorrow I feel at reading the tragic and terrible deaths of both your daughters. I had a dream about Gracie, so I decided to look on the computer so I could find out more about what happened. 14 years ago when this happened I was only 15. I still remember when I found out about it sitting on my couch watching the news. I was too scared to go to the services and I am sorry about that. Anyways, I decided to look up Gracie on the computer and I came across the website. Last night I had a dream about Gracie and the rest of my friends from Lowery Elementary School and I have no idea why. Well I put Gracie's name in a search engine and came across this website. I still remember the day back in 1990 when I was watching the news and found out what had happened to her--I cried so hard. I am sorry for not attending the services because I was too scared to see that. Well, when I was looking at the photo album on the website I came across a picture of Gracie that brought back many memories for me. It is the one under the title "GRACEFUL". That picture was taken at one of my birthday parties, and it was one of my favorite parties because we actually got to see Gracie in a dress--she looked so pretty. I was doing some research on the internet while on my lunch break today and I came across Gracie and Tiffany's website. It brought tears to my eyes and gave me chills. I was 10 years old when they went missing. I lived just down the road in Fox Run subdivision and my babysitter at the time knew Gracie. I met Gracie and Tiffany.
I remember the day that Tina, my old babysitter, told me what happened. I just cried and cried. It was horrible to think that something like that could've happened so close to home and to two of the sweetest girls. I don't know how your family survived. I was there during the whole ordeal from when Gracie and Tiffany were missing to when they were

I wanted to wish Linda a Happy Mother's Day. You are a wonderful mother who has honored your girls well. I just finished reading your website. I am in my late twenties and have one younger sister. My mom had just the two of us. Reading of Gracie and Tiffany reminded me of the two of us. I am so sorry for your loss but am very happy that Gracie and Tiffany are in a better place. As I've grown older I have sadly realized how unsafe the world is. Thank you for sharing your story. Hopefully it will remind another parent to be protective of their child and remind the rest of us to be careful every day.
