I lived only a few blocks from the Moore's when this tragedy happened. I even knew the Taylor family and had known Michael for many years. I must say this was something that should never have happened to two nicer people than the Moores. I drive by the home often and still say a prayer for them and for the family. My surname is also Moore, I just lost my 35 year old sister 2 nights ago to murder. I never thought anything like this would happen to our family, so I now how it feels. I am so sorry for your loss. I have never lost anyone to a violent crime and for that I count my lucky stars everyday. I find our justice system appalling. I don't see how someone who commits such a crime can go on enjoying such a life as we pay for these prisoners to enjoy. I understand they are people too, regardless of their crimes. But really must they live better than people who have never committed such crimes? We have homeless people on the streets who have done nothing illegal their whole lives, let alone killed someone, and they get nothing to help them have clothes on their backs, let alone a tv, food, shelter, and other the other grand things the prison system allows prisoners.
