I died for 8 seconds on the exact day John died. I died in a car accident but was revived back to life in the ambulance. God Bless.

"Calvin" was a dear friend and he will always be missed and will never be forgoten. I did not know long but the time I did get to spend with him I grew to love him as a friend and a brother in Christ. One memory that will be forever with me, is Him, Ryan, and I playing golf on the 9th hole at Muni. In the dark no less.

i went to school with john and all of his siblings in trout lake and am deeply saddened to hear of this tragedy. I had a friend that was stabbed over 15 times and the accused only received a sentence of 2 yrs. I am deeply sorry for your loss

I began to read your son's story and I too spent time at Fort Lee some years ago while in the Army. As I continued to read on I saw Hughson, CA. I am from Modesto, California and I am of course familiar with Hughson as it is a neighboring town and I have family there. I just wanted to say that I am sorry for your loss.
